CSC announces global alliance with SAP.

:CSC) Monday announced a global partnership with SAP AG (company) SAP AG - (Systeme, Anwendungen, Produkte in der Datenverarbeitung - German for "Systems, Applications and Products in Data Processing") A company from Germany that sells the leading suite of client-server business software. The US branch is called SAP America. .

The Waldorf, Germany-based company is the world's leading provider of client-server business applications.

Under the agreement, CSC will team with SAP to support clients seeking SAP's software products and CSC's business reengineering, outsourcing and systems integration expertise.

"The real power of the CSC/SAP alliance is our skill at getting clients dramatic business results fast," said Van B. Honeycutt, CSC president and chief executive officer. "Companies seeking to restructure are finding SAP's platform to be an excellent enabler of business change. But they need more.

"As they grapple with all the change management issues that go with a decision like that, they also need a consulting partner like CSC.

In the past year, CSC has built a SAP consulting practice featuring more than 500 experienced specialists who span Europe, the United State and the Pacific Rim Pacific Rim, term used to describe the nations bordering the Pacific Ocean and the island countries situated in it. In the post–World War II era, the Pacific Rim has become an increasingly important and interconnected economic region. . SAP AG's chairman of the managing board, Dietmar Hopp Dietmar Hopp (born April 26, 1940 in Heidelberg, Germany) is an entrepreneur. He was one of the founders of SAP AG in 1972 with other former IBM employees Hans Werner Hector, Klaus Tschira, Claus Wellenreuther and Hasso Plattner. , noted that the alliance further expands his company's presence in the United States, the Pacific Rim and Europe.
