CSC Announces $212 Million Expansion of IT Services Contract With United Technologies Corporation; CSC to Support UTC's European Operations Under Broadened Agreement.
The expanded scope adds $212 million in value to the contract, which runs through December 2014, bringing the total contract value to more than $4.2 billion over 15 years. CSC first began supporting UTC in May 1999 when the company signed a 10-year outsourcing agreement with Pratt & Whitney, a UTC subsidiary.
Under the expanded agreement, CSC will provide infrastructure support services, including mainframe, mid-range, desktop, local area network and help desk support, to 6,800 desktops and 620 servers at more than 460 of UTC's European sites.
UTC companies served by CSC include Carrier, Otis Elevator, Sikorsky, Power Systems, Hamilton Sundstrand, Pratt & Whitney Canada and Pratt & Whitney.
