 has announced that they have signed a new $102 million, 61-month, expansion to their existing information technology (IT) outsourcing agreement.

Headquartered in Nashua, N.H., IEWS is a producer of defense electronic protection systems and tactical surveillance and intelligence systems.

CSC will manage a full range of IT operations for the unit -- from midrange and desktop computers, to wide and local area networking, Internet services, help-desk support and procurement. An additional 128 BAE SYSTEMS IEWS employees transferred to CSC as part of the agreement.

This new contract is an extension of the $2.2 billion, six-year IT outsourcing agreement BAE SYSTEMS and CSC signed in November 2000, and is the most recent expansion of the relationship. With the addition of the new IEWS unit, the contract between BAE SYSTEMS and CSC is valued at more than $2.3 billion and will run through November 2006. BAE SYSTEMS is one of CSC's largest outsourcing engagements. Now that an additional 128 employees have transferred, CSC has approximately 2,230 employees serving the BAE SYSTEMS account globally.
