CSAA Offers Free Diagnostic Services to Non-Profit Organizations in Honor of National Car Care Month.


SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 5, 1998--October is National Car Care Month and CSAA CSAA Child Study Association of America.  and its Approved Auto Repair shops are celebrating by offering free diagnostic services diagnostic services,

The program "Tune In - Check Up" is designed to help non-profit organizations keep their fleet vehicles maintained properly and to diagnose potential problems. The diagnostic service includes a 100-point inspection of the vehicles' components, which covers brakes, fuel system, ignition, charging system and other mechanical functions.

"Many non-profit agencies don't have the financial resources available to do important automotive maintenance safety inspections," said Pablo Wong, CSAA's Community Affairs Manager. "CSAA is committed to keeping vehicles owned by charitable organizations on the road delivering goods and services In economics, economic output is divided into physical goods and intangible services. Consumption of goods and services is assumed to produce utility (unless the "good" is a "bad"). It is often used when referring to a Goods and Services Tax.  to the people who need them most."

Non-profit agencies that qualify for CSAA's program will be assigned to an Approved Auto Repair facility in their area. The shop will do a free diagnostic safety check on vehicles registered to applicants.
