CS NORTHRIDGE VS. JAMES MADISON.

Byline: Brian Dohn

Time: 7:05 p.m., at Northridge Gym.

TV/Radio: None.

CSUN (6-4) update: The Matadors need to forget about the 65 percent shooting and the 114 points it allowed to UCLA in Saturday's debacle and get back to playing strong defense. The Matadors have won five of their past seven games and need to use this game and next week's matchup with Lewis-Clark State to ready themselves for the Big Sky season. One positive from the UCLA game was the shooting of Greg Minor, who hit seven 3-pointers and finished with 25 points. Again, playing looks bleak for power forward Rico Harris. He missed Monday's practice and isn't expected to play.

James Madison (6-3) update: The Dukes continue a Southern California holiday with their first meeting against the Matadors. Coach Sherman Dillard is in his second season after replacing Lefty Driesell. Center Rob Strickland, 6-foot-10, averages 6.9 points and 7.3 rebounds per game.
