CRYOGENIC INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY DATABASE LAUNCHES CD-ROM.NIST (National Institute of Standards & Technology, Washington, DC, www.nist.gov) The standards-defining agency of the U.S. government, formerly the National Bureau of Standards. It is one of three agencies that fall under the Technology Administration (www.technology. , along with the Chemical Propulsion Information Agency, Columbia, Md., and Technology Applications Inc., Boulder, Colo., have reconstructed and updated the database of the former National Bureau of Standards National Bureau of Standards: see National Institute of Standards and Technology. The goal is to establish an information center capable of providing technical analyses, state-of-the-art reviews, enhanced fluid and material property software routines, current-awareness services and Internet accessibility.
