Dan Klusmann, editor of the Independent Marketing Edge, a newsletter for independent theater owners, said he was ``baffled'' by the clip. ``It was pretty strange, and I'm not sure what to think of what kind of movie it's going to be.'' Warner Bros. co-chairman Terry Semel Terry Semel (born on February 24, 1943 in Brooklyn, New York, U.S.A.) is a notable American corporate executive who was the chairman and CEO of Yahoo! Incorporated. Previously, Semel spent 24 years at Warner Brothers, where he served as chairman and co-chief executive officer. introduced the clip, saying Kubrick edited it specifically for ShoWest. Semel said the footage was part of a scene from ``Eyes Wide Shut'' and indicated the clip would not be used as a trailer for theaters. He also said, in something of an understatement, ``this will clearly be an R-rated film.'' Kubrick, who died Sunday from natural causes at 70, had managed to keep secret most of the details of the production. Still, it was a well-known and talked-about project in Hollywood, not the least because of the 15 months it took to complete.
