), to approve ALLIANCE ATLANTIS' application to acquire a 47.85% interest in Sportscope Television Network Ltd. (Sportscope), which operates the Headline Sports specialty television network. The acquisition will be effected through the transfer of the 682,576.36 common shares currently held by the CRTC-approved trustee, Mr. Keith Campbell, to ALLIANCE ATLANTIS.

Launched in 1997, and now available in approximately 5.5 million Canadian homes, Headline Sports is a 24-hour sports network featuring continually updated sports highlights, news and information in a 15-minute wheel format.
