CRSS SUBSIDIARY AWARDED ENGINEER/PROCURE/CONSTRUCT CONTRACT FOR $50 MILLION COGENERATION FACILITY

 HOUSTON, Nov. 16 ~PRNewswire~ -- CRSS Inc. (NYSE: CRX), announced that its subsidiary, CRS Sirrine Engineers, Inc., has been awarded the turnkey engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning contract by Indeck-Olean Limited Partnership for its $50 million cogeneration facility at Olean, N.Y.
 Electricity from the 79-megawatt, combined-cycle plant will be sold to Niagra Mohawk Power Co., and steam will be sold to Dresser Rand Corp. Construction is scheduled for completion in early 1994.
 Natural gas will be the primary fuel for the plant, with No. 2 fuel oil as the backup. The exhaust from the gas turbine will pass through a heat recovery steam generator that will supply steam to a 38-megawatt extracting~condensing steam turbine.
 Indeck-Olean Limited Partnership is headquartered in Chicago, Ill.
 On Nov. 11, 1992, CRSS announced the award of another engineer~procure~construct contract for a $150 million congeneration plant in Lakewood, N.J. Lakewood Cogeneration Limited Partnership is owner of the project, which is expected to be completed in September, 1994.
