Retail Systems, Inc. today announced the availability of its Encore Retail Suite(TM), version 2.2, and will be showcasing the latest enhancements January 13-14 in Booth #1738 at the 2003 NRF Annual Convention and EXPO.

The Encore Retail Suite provides specialty retailers with a proven and feature-rich Point of Sale application and a full complement of back-office applications including Inventory Management, Time and Attendance, Store Operations, and more.

The latest version of Encore is now more closely integrated with Found ICaM(TM) and the Focus(TM) suite of retail analytics applications marketed by CRS Retail. Sales associates in any store can identify customers at the point of sale using a new centralized preferred customer module as well as find and sell inventory from any other location in the chain using the Inventory Locator and Order Manager modules of Found ICaM. Encore 2.2, with its wireless module extensions, also launches CRS Retail's first applications based on Microsoft's .NET framework.

CRS Retail Systems will be showcasing Encore 2.2, Found ICaM, and its Focus suite at NRF in an integrated multi-channel retail demonstration, featuring four networked store systems, an e-commerce site, and a call center application. Attendees will be able to see detailed demonstrations of each product, including centralized preferred customer lookup from any store, real-time inventory visibility across the chain, customer sales order The sales order, sometimes abbreviated as SO, is an order received by a business from a customer. "Timely access to customer and inventory information from across the enterprise is a key capability required to increase sales and enhance customer service in retail stores," said Kathy Frommer, chief executive officer of CRS Retail Systems. "While we are increasing the touchpoints between store and corporate systems, we remain focused on creating high-impact, high-ROI innovations that empower people in store operations."
