CROSS COUNTRY ROUNDUP: ST. FRANCIS' ARNOLD WINS MISSION LEAGUE TITLE IN RECORD TIME.

St. Francis senior Jeff Arnold clocked 14 minutes, 43 seconds to set a Mission League record on the Griffith Park Griffith Park is a large public park at the eastern end of the Santa Monica Mountains. It is situated in the Los Feliz neighborhood of Los Angeles, California. The park covers 4,210 acres (17 km²) of land, making it one of the largest urban parks in North America.  course in the league finals Wednesday.

Alemany also had a strong meet, placing three runners in the top ten and snagging fourth place with 65 points. Ryan Rosdail finished second in 15:01 while brothers Alan Wagenbach (eighth, 16:02) and Dave Wagenbach (ninth, 16:04).

Arnold was undefeated in league competition the past two seasons.

Kubler cruises: Tom Kubler of Viewpoint breezed to a first-place finish Noun 1. first-place finish - a finish in first place (as in a race)

 in the Liberty League finals at Griffith Park, winning by 1:38.
