Scottish-born Mr Booker disappeared from the Endeavour River The Endeavour River (Guugu Yimithirr: Wabalumbaal) on Cape York Peninsula in Far North Queensland, Australia, was named in 1770 by Lt. James Cook, R.N. near Cooktown in Queensland two weeks ago. Crocodile slide marks, Mr Booker's watch, footwear and his brand-new video camera were found nearby. Police say the "circular metal object" was found on a Xray of a captured crocodile. But more tests are being conducted after human remains were found in another croc. The two animals involved in his death are protected under Australian law and will be sent to a reptile farm. Mr Booker had lived in Brisbane since he was a child. |
