CRO Magazine Names Silver Spring Networks' Scott Lang 2009 Responsible Private Company CEO of the Year.

Winners were announced today at the CRO Summit at the Union League Club of Chicago.

The winners of CRO Magazine's CEO of the Year Award 2009 reflect the year's most important and effective leaders in professionalizing corporate responsibility practices, including governance, risk, compliance, sustainability, philanthropy and CSR, within their own organizations. According to CRO Magazine, editors selected nominees and winners based on criteria including the scope of the impact of their corporate responsibility efforts in revenue, profit or size of population served, as well as the out-front role and degree of risk taken to implement these efforts.
