ALL OF US - Three stars

Logline: Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith Jada Koren Pinkett Smith (born September 18, 1971) is an American actress and singer. She is married to actor/rapper Will Smith. Biography
Early life
Jada was born September 18 Jada Koren Pinkett in Baltimore, Maryland to Robsol Pinkett, Jr.
submit their lives in sitcom form for America's approval. Robert (Duane Martin), a Hollywood infotainment reporter, must balance life with ex-wife Neesee (LisaRaye), fiancee Tia (Elise Neal) and his young son (Khamani Griffin). ``I'm about to be in hell for the rest of my life, and I have to get used to that,'' Robert summarizes, kicking off what should be an entertaining yet vaguely insightful series in terms of depicting contemporary extended families working against the odds to make things work.

Noteworthy performances: Everyone hits their marks as required; Tony Rock (Chris' brother) also earns laughs as Robert's jerky, thrice-divorced boss, who opines Opines are low molecular weight compounds found in plant crown gall tumors produced by the parasitic bacterium Agrobacterium. Opine biosynthesis is catalyzed by specific enzymes encoded by genes contained in a small segment of DNA (known as the T-DNA, for 'transfer DNA') , ``You don't know Don't know (DK, DKed)

insists that the Smiths are going to remain involved in the day-to-day operations of this show; while that's unlikely to be true given their busy film schedules, anyone at the network who manages to keep Will contributing his comic sensibilities to the show on a regular basis deserves kudos - and cash.

Where: UPN (Channel 13).

When: 8:30 tonight.

ROCK ME BABY - One and one half stars

Logline: Radio Howard Stern-type shock-jock Jimmy (Dan Cortese) must balance his on-air edge (at least, we're told he's funny and controversial - we don't actually see him be so on the air) with his happy home life with wife Beth (Bianca Kajlich) and their new baby. Their sex life hit the snooze button in the wake of the birth, so tonight, they somehow manage to reignite Verb 1. reignite - ignite anew, as of something burning; "The strong winds reignited the cooling embers"
ignite, light - cause to start burning; subject to fire or great heat; "Great heat can ignite almost any dry matter"; "Light a cigarette"

Originality: One and half stars

Credibility: One stars - Would Jimmy really go directly to bed after the baby pees on him?

Laughs per episode: One, to be kind, in tonight's episode.

Inadvertent laughs: It's always kind of amusing when a really crass comedy tries to get all maudlin maud·lin

Effusively or tearfully sentimental: "displayed an almost maudlin concern for the welfare of animals" Aldous Huxley. See Synonyms at sentimental.
, as this one inevitably does.

Who should get fired/who should get a raise: Howard Stern should get some royalties. But the show may be canceled before he gets the chance to sue for any.

Where: UPN (Channel 13)

When: 9 tonight.

In a nutshell: Having a baby on a sitcom usually denotes when the show has jumped the shark. And so does ``Rock Me Baby'' with its first episode. And is it really a good idea to try to convince UPN viewers that it's OK for characters this young and wild to have children? (Remember, Stern's marriage ended in divorce.)
