LEADERS Dolgellau slumped to a seven-wicket defeat at second placed Menai Bridge in the Holland Arms Garden Centre League Division One, writes Keith Evans. Dolgellau were dismissed for 105,(RichardAlexander 33)as Daniel Surgey picked up 2-11.

Menai Bridge replied with 106-3,Cefin Owen hitting 40 not out and Robbie Jones a fur-ther 36 in a 9- 1 points split. Llandudno pulled off a 14-run win at Bangor 3rds after setting 156-7,(ElganWilliams 42,Tarique Khan 28 and Mark Hughes 28)as Chris Jones collected 3- 35 and Tom Evison 3- 33. Bangor were bowled out for 142,(Evison 67 and Robbie Marshall 26)as Indian all-rounder Khanclaimed 3- 9 and Andy Christian 3-30 in a 6-4 result.

Porthmadog's home match with Beaumaris was called off due to a waterlogged pitch with both sides pocketing three points.

Mochdre took over at the top of Division Two with a 58-run home win over Menai Bridge 2nds. Skipper Gareth Davies hammered 71 and Phil Dixon 60 as Mochdre posted 208-8, Dafydd Owen taking 3-32,but the visitors were bowled out for 150,(SionTecwyn 65)as Russell Boswell bagged 5-33 in an 8-2 split.
