CREW steps up to the plate for the ladies.CREW Foundation, the philanthropic arm of CREW Network (Commercial Real Estate Women), and it's National Executive partner, Cushman & Wakefield, announced the kick-off of a participatory classroom program aimed at educating teenage girls about "Commercial Real Estate 101." The program, entitled CREW Careers: Building Opportunities, will be presented to local girls' groups, such as Girls' Inc. and Girl Scouts Girl Scouts, recreational and service organization founded (1912) in Savannah, Ga., by Mrs. Juliette Gordon Low (1860–1927). It was originally modeled after the Boy Scouts and Girl Guides, organizations created in Great Britain by Sir Robert Baden-Powell during , and produced locally by CREW Network chapters and supported by Cushman & Wakefield branches. CREW Careers will use local commercial real estate projects to illustrate the range of skills needed to develop raw land into a successfully leased property.
