 real estate industry in a lecture series offered by the New York University New York University, mainly in New York City; coeducational; chartered 1831, opened 1832 as the Univ. of the City of New York, renamed 1896. It comprises 13 schools and colleges, maintaining 4 main centers (including the Medical Center) in the city, as well as the  Real Estate Institute. The breakfast series will take place between 8 a.m. and 9:45 a.m. on consecutive beginning March 29. The series includes the following speakers and topics:

March 29, "Multi-family Investment Opportunities in the Next Decade," Victoria Kahn, Managing Director, Clarion A family of application development systems for Windows from SoftVelocity, Inc., Pompano Beach, FL (www.softvelocity.com). Clarion provides a comprehensive set of tools for development, including a screen builder, 4GL and application generator.  Partners. 2. For mutual fund companies, it is the individual who has the day-to-day responsibility of investing and monitoring the cash and

April 5, "Anchoring New Construction: Opportunities and Issues for Tenants and Developers," Mary Ann Tighe, Vice Chairman, Insignia/ESG. Tighe has sixteen years of experience in the commercial real estate industry and has concluded leasing / equity transactions totaling in excess of 36 million sq. ft. On three occasions she has received The Real Estate Board of New York's highest awards for deal making.

April 12, "The New Penn Station and West Side Development," Marilyn Jordan Taylor, FAIA FAIA Florida Association of Insurance Agents
FAIA Food Additives and Ingredients Association (Kent, UK)
FAIA Fellow, American Institute of Architects (honorary position) 
, Partner, Skidmore, Owings & Merrill. In addition to heading SOM's Urban Design and Planning and its Airport practices, Taylor sits on the Board of the New York Building Congress and the Institute for Urban Design.

April 19, "Redevelopment and Rebirth of the World Trade Center," Cherrie Nanninga, Deputy Chief Financial Officer and Director of Real Estate, The Port Authority of NY & NJ. Nanninga oversees the leasing and marketing of all of the Port Authority's major real estate holdings in New York and New Jersey. She also serves on the boards of the Alliance for Downtown New York, the Lower Manhattan Lower Manhattan is the southernmost part of the island of Manhattan, the main island and center of business and government of the City of New York. Lower Manhattan is generally defined as the area delineated on the north by Chambers Street, on the west by the Hudson River (North  Cultural Council, and the Real Estate Board of New York.

April 26, "Trends and Transactions in the Investment Sales Market," Darcy Stacom, Executive Director, Cushman & Wakefield. Stacom has over 21 years of experience in investment sales and leasing, and in NYC alone, has handled over 20 million sq. ft. of transactions. The Wall Street Journal named her "Queen of the Skyscrapers" and she was ranked by Grid Magazine and Real Estate Alert as the number one investment sales team in the market.

May 3, "Dot-coms and Web Enabling Real Estate Businesses", Dale Ann Reiss, Global Industry Leader of Real Estate for Ernst & Young LLP LLP - Lower Layer Protocol . Reiss specializes in providing a full spectrum of services to real estate and hospitality companies and real estate consulting to corporations and financial institutions. She is responsible for all of real estate, hospitality, gaming and construction activities of the firm.
