CREW Launches CorporateCrackdown.org - Outside Oversight, Where Business and Government Intersect.


WASHINGTON -- Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW) is an American government watchdog organization founded in 2003. One of their most visible projects is a biannual list of Washington politicians they label as the "most corrupt.  (CREW) launched a new website today that will provide much-needed oversight on the intersection between business and government.

Federal contractors, corporations, and trade groups all conduct business with the government with relatively little non-governmental oversight. CorporateCrackdown.org's mission is to change that. The new CREW website will hold accountable those who unduly influence government officials, overcharge taxpayers, or sacrifice the public good for private benefit by exposing their activities and taking action where appropriate.
