CREW/NY SPONSORS MENTOR PROGRAM.Veronica W. Hackett, principal of The Clarett Group, greets one of 40 graduate students participating in CREW/NY's Mentorship Program. The program, unique in the industry, provides young women interested in pursuing a career in the real estate industry the opportunity to network with members of the organization and benefit from their many years of experience in the field. CREW/NY currently has affiliations with The New York University New York University, mainly in New York City; coeducational; chartered 1831, opened 1832 as the Univ. of the City of New York, renamed 1896. It comprises 13 schools and colleges, maintaining 4 main centers (including the Medical Center) in the city, as well as the Real Estate Institute, New York University Stern School of Business The Leonard N. Stern School of Business is New York University's (NYU) business school. It was named after Leonard N. Stern, an alumnus and benefactor of the school. The school was established in 1900 as the NYU School of Commerce, Accounts and Finance. and The Columbia University Columbia University, mainly in New York City; founded 1754 as King's College by grant of King George II; first college in New York City, fifth oldest in the United States; one of the eight Ivy League institutions.
