) reminds homebuyers and sellers, as well as all individuals involved in real estate transactions, that the services of a qualified and professional home inspector are unique in some very important respects.

Home buyers in California have the right to secure inspection reports on the systems and components of a property as a condition of sale. Although ill-advised, they also have the option to waive To intentionally or voluntarily relinquish a known right or engage in conduct warranting an inference that a right has been surrendered.
