CREDIT CARD CASE CHARGES COULD EXPAND.

VALENCIA - Model Beverly Peele Beverly Peele is an African American supermodel. She was a top fashion model in the 80s and 90s. When she rose to fame, she was nicknamed "Baby Naomi". Peele has graced over 250 magazine covers worldwide including Vogue, Mademoiselle, ELLE and Cosmopolitan. , accused of using stolen credit card numbers for $10,000 in purchases, could face additional charges, a prosecutor said Thursday.

Charged with two counts of grand theft, Peele was in Santa Clarita Santa Clarita, city (1990 pop. 110,642), Los Angeles co., S Calif., suburb 30 mi (48 km) NW of downtown Los Angeles, on the Santa Clara River; inc. 1987. The purchases totaled $10,000 and were made by using credit card numbers from a wallet deputies said Peele found in a local supermarket.

Peele returned the wallet, but credit card numbers from the wallet owner were used to make several of the purchases.
