COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo., Jan. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Cray Computer

Corp. (NASDAQ: CRAY) announced today that a lawsuit has been filed against it in the Federal District Court in Denver alleging violations of the Federal Securities Laws, Common Law Fraud and Negligent Misrepresentation. The plaintiff claims that he is a member of a class damaged by misrepresentation and concealment of adverse material information during the period from Sept. 25 through Dec. 23, 1991 relating to Cray Computer's progress in development of the CRAY-3 and to the status of the order for the first Cray-3 placed by Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. No dollar damages are specified. Cray Computer believes that the lawsuit is without merit and intends to defend it vigorously.
