In conjunction with the appointment, CPC also announced it has contracted with Enernomics Inc., an Atlanta-based management services company founded by Jones and specializing in energy project development and evaluation. Company officials expressed strong confidence in Jones based on his years of executive experience in the energy field. Jones has a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology Georgia Institute of Technology, in Atlanta, Ga.; coeducational; state supported; chartered 1885, opened 1888. It is a member school in the university system of Georgia. Significant among its facilities and programs are the Frank H. and a master's degree from Georgia State University History Georgia State University was founded in 1913 as the Georgia School of Technology's "School of Commerce." He served Georgia Power as a district manager in the Atlanta area while developing successful major marketing programs for that utility.
