CPA2Biz announces strong year-end business results for fourth consecutive year.

CPA2Biz Inc. recently reported strong business results for its fiscal year ending July 31. Top line revenue grew by 10% to $15.7 million with net income of $1.5 million, up from $14.3 million and $0.2 million respectively, the year before. The revenue increase was driven primarily by growth of more than 25% in new business lines, including Business Solutions, the Career Center and digital newsletters.

"This makes four consecutive years of growth and solid results for CPA2Biz," said Erik Asgeirsson, chief executive officer, CPA2Biz Inc. He added, "This year in particular was marked by some key milestones and achievements." In Mar., the company announced a five-year extension of its successful Business Solutions relationship with Paychex Inc. for payroll and retirement planning services. In June, CPA2Biz was ranked by Internet Retailer as one of the top 500 e-commerce sites in the United States (as measured by online sales volume).

"More than 50% of the CPA profession uses our services and we're committed to delivering great customer service to them," said Asgeirsson, citing recent customer satisfaction surveys that have 74% of users rating the Web site as very good or excellent. Now more than 60% of AICPA orders are placed online through the site.

CPA2Biz will be making a significant investment in a next generation Web site, expected to launch in spring 2007. "The Web site has become a cornerstone of our business" said Patrick Bonnaure, CPA2Biz's chief operating officer. "It now supports just about every function we perform in serving the CPA profession," he said. "But leading e-commerce sites keep raising the expectations of online buyers," continued Bonnaure. "Our next generation Web site will have usability improvements and rich new features to meet the expanding needs of our customers and members."
