CP&S Bids Farewell to One of Its Own with Sorrow; Promotes New President and COO From Within.

BOCA RATON, Fla. -- Jose Bernal, CP&S' Operating Officer and 12-year company veteran, will leave this month to lead a startup venture of his own. "It was a very tough decision, but the truth is, I am very excited about this new venture as well as the timing of the move," remarked Bernal. "Participating in CP&S' early stage development was a tremendous challenge that I thoroughly enjoyed. Now that they have grown into the kind of industry leader we envisioned so many years ago, I have been afforded the opportunity to be ambitious once more and it's just too intriguing to pass up."

During CP&S' development, Bernal oversaw the successful installation of JD Edwards' Enterprise (ERP) application which today serves as the backbone of the company's leading-edge inventory control and order entry / tracking system. He also led the company's efforts to become ISO 9000 compliant, while developing and implementing performance metrics that are now considered industry standards. In addition, his tenure at CP&S included a two-year sabbatical in Boston where he earned his MBA at Harvard Business School.

Richard Parkes, CP&S' CEO, admits that Bernal will be missed, but is equally enthusiastic for him. "Jose has been a real partner to me in this enterprise, yet I understand what an exciting opportunity he has and support him completely. I felt the same way, missing his energy and ability, yet encouraging him when he left for Harvard." Parkes continued, "As far as any void that may be created with Jose's departure, we have anticipated such changes and capitalized on opportunities to bring in seasoned management talent like Kevin Joyce and Ralph Tremonti during the past few years. I'm quite confident they represent the leadership skill and internal horsepower necessary to continue the growth of our company."

Joyce joined CP&S as EVP of Sales and Marketing in September 2003, and since has helped foster a 30% growth in the Company's business. "Kevin has demonstrated his industry knowledge, talent and skill in making positive things happen for us," added Parkes. "His leadership, trend-setting ideas and reputation in the industry will serve him well in his new role as President and COO, while enabling us to continue the success we have enjoyed since his arrival."
