"Since the company's inception in June 1998, COi has focused its energy on building internetworking solutions for other companies to operate," said Jones. "We are now in a position to use our business integration knowledge and experience to move into operational activities. We will not only build the company, but also take control of its operations."

To date, business InterNetworking solutions have been developed for the healthcare, travel and tourism and the brokerage industry. All of these projects have resulted in creating businesses that can execute e-commerce transactions in their field. Some examples of these solutions are selling stock information on small cap companies, booking airline reservations, and providing healthcare services over the Internet. In building these solutions, COi has worked with a number of suppliers that include IBM (International Business Machines Corporation, Armonk, NY, www.ibm.com) The world's largest computer company. As part of this expanded strategy, earlier this month, COi announced the acquisition of Community.Builder.com. This was a first step in vertically integrating some of its component suppliers under the COi umbrella. This merger further enables the company to continue its expansion beyond the design and build phases, and into the operation of web-based entities in our target markets of healthcare, travel and tourism, and trade and commerce.

"Along with this change in direction, COi will continue to pursue it's core business of designing and building new companies or working with existing Internet based operating companies operating company
