COX SIGNS DEFINITIVE AGREEMENT TO SELL BULLHEAD CITY SYSTEM TO NEWS-PRESS & GAZETTE.


ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 16, 1995--Cox Communications, Inc., today announced the signing of a definitive agreement to sell its cable television system in Bullhead bullhead, common name for several species of fish. See catfish; sculpin.

Any of several species of North American freshwater catfish in the genus Ictalurus, valued as food and sport fishes. Bullheads are related to the channel catfish (I.
 City, AZ, to News-Press & Gazette Company for $20 million. Closing of the transaction is expected late in the third quarter of this year, pending legal and regulatory approvals.

The system, operating under the name Dimension Cable Services, serves approximately 13,000 customers in Bullhead City and parts of Mojave County, AZ. Cox Communications Cox Communications is a privately owned subsidiary of Cox Enterprises providing digital cable television and telecommunications services in the United States. It is the third-largest[2] cable television provider in the United States, serving more than 6.  acquired the system in February 1995 as part of its merger with the Times Mirror Company.
