COWBOYS TO CHORALES; VARIETY IS NEW SEASON'S SPICE.Byline: Greg Botonis Staff Writer The fifth anniversary season of the Palmdale Playhouse will be the most diverse yet, Mayor Jim Ledford said Thursday as he announced the 1999-2000 season lineup. ``It's a beautiful and intimate little house and the lineup is fantastic,'' Ledford said. ``We have the classics and some great new stuff.'' The season will open at 8 p.m. Sept. 11 with violinist Lynnette Thredgold, whose music blends jazz, classical, pop and blues. She has performed previously with the Moody Blues, Mannheim Steamroller and tenor Placido Domingo Noun 1.
