poet J.D. Seibert is familiar with working pens - those that hold cattle and those that write poetry.

``I've always been a writer,'' Seibert said. ``I guess I've officially been a cowboy poet for three years. I worked my friend's ranch ranch, large farm devoted chiefly to raising and breeding cattle, horses, sheep, and goats. The cattle ranch was introduced from Latin America to Texas and the plains of the W United States and Canada.  in Agua Dulce Agua Dulce is Spanish for "sweet water". Seibert will be reciting some of his original works with fellow poet Gary Robertson Gary Keith Robertson (b. 15 July, 1960) in New Plymouth was a New Zealand Cricketer. He played only one Test and 10 one-day internationals for the New Zealand cricket team..

Robertson also played for Taranaki in the Hawke Cup.

Music will be provided by Canyon Country resident Eddie Villalobos, who is a member of the popular Buckaroo Balladeers, and The Pedersen Family, a group of singers that have performed at events in Acton.

Seibert has performed at the Autry Museum of Western Heritage in Los Angeles Los Angeles (lôs ăn`jələs, lŏs, ăn`jəlēz'), city (1990 pop. 3,485,398), seat of Los Angeles co., S Calif.; inc. 1850.  and at the Cowboy Festival, Ashley said.

``He's a very talented young man,'' Ashley said. ``He just wanted to do something to help us out.''

Money raised during the event will go toward conservation of the saddles that are part of the museum's collection. Because of their age and the effects of time, the saddles are due for some professional restoration.

``We'd also like to work on curating the textiles in the museum collection. We have so many of Hart's costumes; there are movie stills on display where you can see the costumes that we have and would like to display.''

Hart wore several of the outfits more than once, she said. ``In pictures from different movies, you sometimes see the same pieces.''

Tickets for the event are $8 per person and may be obtained in advance by calling (661) 254-4584.
