May replaces Alan Ayers who resigned from the board. George Ford George Ford (January 11, 1846 - August 30, 1917) was a U.S. Representative from Indiana. Born in South Bend, St. Joseph County, Indiana, Ford attended the common schools. He engaged in the cooper's trade in early youth. , Covol's vice president of research and development also resigned from the board to make room for another outside director. May, a chemical engineer, retired in 1995 as director of health and environmental sciences for the Dow Chemical Co. May has a BES degree in chemical engineering which was a five year professional degree.
