COUTTS & CO. INTERNATIONAL PRIVATE BANKING OPENS BRANCH IN NEW YORK

 NEW YORK, Sept. 28 /PRNewswire/ -- Coutts & Co. International Private Banking have opened a branch in New York. The branch will offer high quality banking and investment services to wealthy private investors who expect the highest standards of service and professionalism.
 The opening of the New York branch is seen as a major step in meeting the needs of the international private banking client and an important extension of the worldwide representation of the Coutts Group, which has 31 offices in 14 countries around the world.
 Sir David Money-Coutts, chairman of Coutts & Co., has invited Lord Alexander of Weedon Q.C., chairman of National Westminster Bank, formally to open the branch at a reception to be held at the Museum of Modern Art on Wednesday, Sept. 29. Sir Ewen Fergusson, who succeeds Sir David as chairman of Coutts on Oct. 1, will also be present.
