Worcester Superior Court

Judge Bruce R. Henry

James B. Cunningham, 27, of 680 Union St., Leominster, was sentenced to two and a half years in the House of Correction, with 359 days to be served, after pleading guilty to assault with intent to commit a felony. The charge was amended from armed assault with intent to rob.

The balance of the sentence was suspended for two years with probation. He was placed on probation for two years, to begin upon his release, after pleading guilty to assault and battery. As conditions of probation, he was ordered to have no contact with the victims and to pay $496 restitution. A charge of carjacking was dismissed at the request of the commonwealth.

Paul Plotczyk, 58, of 9 Grand View Ave., Worcester, charged with assault and battery, dismissed.

Katie A. Lambe, 21, of 141 Cohasset St., Worcester, charged with assault and battery on a person over 60 years old or disabled with an injury, continued without a plea or finding and placed on pre-trial probation for nine months, ordered to undergo drug and alcohol evaluations with treatment and counseling as recommended by the Probation Department; and driving without a license, found responsible, fined $100.
