 COURT GRANTS INJUNCTION REQUEST FROM MARS, INC.,
 BARS CONLUX USA FROM SELLING PREMIER COIN CHANGERS
 WILMINGTON, Del., May 21 /PRNewswire/ -- A Federal District Court judge here issued an injunction earlier this week barring Conlux USA Corporation from importing or selling its "Premier Series" of coin changers because the products infringe on a patent owned by Mars, Inc.
 The injunction was requested by Mars, Inc. after a jury ruled in its favor in a patent-infringement suit against Conlux earlier this month.
 The patent covers the use of programmable memory in electronic coin recognition and acceptance equipment. Mars Electronics International, a West Chester, Pa.-based subsidiary of Mars, Inc., uses the patented invention in a number of its electronic payment systems products.
 The injunction was issued after a district court jury ruled earlier this month that Conlux USA, also known in th, Va. Conlux USA, of Hillsboro, Mo., imports the coin changers from its parent company, K.K. Nippon Conlux of Tokyo, Japan.
 In h-- such as the company's "Premier Series" coin changers -- that infringe the Mars, Inc. patent. In addition, McKelvie ordered Conlux USA to immediately inform its distributors of the injunction and to demand that all unsold inventory be returned to the company.
