COUPLE ROBBED AT GUNPOINT.

PALMDALE - A Palmdale couple were robbed at gunpoint in front of their apartment late Monday evening and the gunman is still on the loose, sheriff's deputies said.

The robber got away with $140 cash and a cell phone from the holdup at the Casablanca Apartments complex in the 4100 block of East Avenue R about 9 p.m. Monday.

``The robbery apparently took place in front of an apartment in that complex,'' said Deputy Daryl Bonsal of the Palmdale sheriff's station.

Deputies said the robber approached the couple, whose names were not released, waved a small, chrome (jargon) chrome - (From automotive slang via wargaming) Showy features added to attract users but contributing little or nothing to the power of a system.

"The 3D icons in Motif are just chrome, but they certainly are *pretty* chrome!"
 handgun at them and demanded that they hand over their money. The robber also demanded the man's cell phone.

The gunman ran out of the complex.

He was described as an African-American male in his early 20s with a shaved shave
