An oversight committee composed of county and Casa Pacifica officials, the schools superintendent, and foster care and group home representatives will monitor the shelter's performance. Four subcommittees will watch its finances, its admissions and discharges, the quality of care and outcomes of its patients, and its cooperation with other agencies. Schillo said Elson did not provide him with information on the citations that led to the state's threat to revoke the shelter's license. Schillo said he obtained the documents directly from Sacramento. Elson said he does not expect releasing data to be a problem again. ``I will certainly strive to make sure that he and all the Board of Supervisors . . . will get as much information as he needs,'' he said. |
