Anyone with information is asked to call the Santa Clarita Valley sheriff's station at (661) 255-1121. The vandalism was classified as a felony hate crime because of the nature and the extensive damage. The intruders hit over the weekend at the various locations in Stevenson Ranch and Valencia. Sheriff's officials believe youths are responsible because the vandalism didn't make sense - for example, anti-Jewish swastikas were left on a Christian church. No suspects had been arrested by late Tuesday afternoon, sheriff's officials said.
