COUNCIL WILL REVIEW LAWS ON KEEPING OF ANIMALS.

SIMI VALLEY Simi Valley (sē`mē, sĭm`ē), city (1990 pop. 100,217), Ventura co., SW Calif. in an oil, fruit, and farm region; laid out 1887, inc. 1969.  - The City Council on Monday will review proposals to overhaul animal keeping and breeding regulations in the city.

Council members will be asked to discuss zoning amendments that would allow dog breeders to keep up to 25 dogs in neighborhoods that allow livestock, while cat breeders would be allowed up to 16 cats in all residential areas.
