The final agreement to build the 570-home Moorpark Highlands project on 445 acres north of Spring Road was unanimously approved Thursday Thursday: see week.  by the City Council.

The developers, led by Camarillo-based Morrison Mor·ris·on   , Toni Originally Chloe Anthony Wofford. Born 1931.

paths, and set aside 22 acres for a school. Under the agreement, 25 of the homes in the project will be affordable for those with limited incomes, and the developers also will pay the city $2 million toward building housing elsewhere for those with low incomes.

The developers will be required to build a four-lane extension of Spring Road that will sweep around and connect with Walnut walnut, common name for some members of the Juglandaceae, a family of chiefly deciduous, resinous trees characterized by large and aromatic compound leaves. Species of the walnut family are indigenous mostly to the north temperate zone, but also range from Central  Canyon Road, and they must build a four-lane road that eventually would connect Spring Road with roads that may be built by others to the east.

The agreement is scheduled for a second reading by the council Oct. 6.
