In Desert, the Cougars have a very beatable opponent. It doesn't have many sophomores (five, compared to Canyons' three), and it is coming off a 2-8 year. Coach Steve Dostal said his team needs to be able to execute and not commit turnovers, which is what happened last year. Unfortunately for Dostal, and fortunately for Canyons, Desert's 50 Eagle defense doesn't defend the West Coast very well.
