Cottage Grove High School Cottage Grove High School is a public high school located in Cottage Grove, Oregon. It has a newer school building, opened in 2003 to replace the old high school building that was built in 1939 and held its first classes in 1940.  commencement exercises will be June 11.

Four seniors share the honor of being named class valedictorian: Mia Burger, Kate Harrison, Lindsay Herron and Sara Quackenbush.

Burger is the daughter of Mike Burger and Corlinda Noe. She plans to attend the University of Oregon The University of Oregon is a public university located in Eugene, Oregon. The university was founded in 1876, graduating its first class two years later. The University of Oregon is one of 60 members of the Association of American Universities.  Honors College. She is involved in Interact and Key Club, where she serves as president, is in Spanish Club, National Honor Society The National Honor Society (NHS), established in 1921, is a recognition program for American high school students who show achievement in scholarship, leadership, service, and character.  and participates in track.

Jim Harrison
, plans to attend Oregon State University Oregon State University, at Corvallis; land-grant and state supported; coeducational; chartered 1858 as Corvallis College, opened 1865. In 1868 it was designated Oregon's land-grant agricultural college and was taken over completely by the state in 1885. . She is a member of National Honor Society and the In and Out Club.

Herron is the daughter of Ann Marie and Peter Herron. She plans to major in psychology at the University of Oregon. She was named Cottage Grove Cottage Grove, village (1990 pop. 22,935), Washington co., SE Minn., near the St. Croix River; inc. 1965. There is farming (cattle, sheep, corn, and soybeans) and manufacturing (chemicals and machinery).  Junior First Citizen and is involved in track, music, Interact and National Honor Society.

Quackenbush is the daughter of Dan and Carol Quackenbush. She plans to study pharmacy at Oregon State University. She is involved in Interact, Key Club, National Honor Society and is a Mat Girl.
