Atlantic Refreshments carries on Cott's private label beverage business in Atlantic Canada and employs 53 people. The acquisition brings Cott's total interest in Atlantic Refreshments to 70% with the remaining 30% held by Atlantic Refreshments' original two shareholders. The acquisition of this interest was made pursuant to certain put rights in favor of the other two Atlantic shareholders who remain as the senior managers and who were the sole owners of the business prior to Cott's initial investment in 1991.
