Located in the Applied Arts Building of Moorpark College, the child care program for toddlers and preschoolers is in a remodeled facility never intended to be a child development center, Cravens said. One room was built for children; three others have been remodeled as classrooms, she said. With the additional room, the child development center will be licensed for about 100 children and will have more student capacity.
