Former City Councilwoman Sandi Webb, who has a concealed weapons license to carry a .38-caliber gun, said she believes it is fair for the city to charge the higher fee if it has to process the paperwork involved. ``Why should we have to pay for our Second Amendment rights?'' said Webb, an advocate of gun owners' rights. ``The whole argument for me is, we shouldn't have the permit. Until we can overturn that, the city should have no fee, or (only) what it costs the city.'' |
