COSMETIC SURGERY SOARS AS BABY BOOMERS AGE.


Since baby boomers crossed the half-century mark, cosmetic surgery cosmetic surgery, plastic surgery for cosmetic purposes, such as the improvement of the appearance of the face by removing wrinkles or reshaping the nose.  for 51-64-year-olds has risen 47%, according to the American Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons. Boomers are not alone. More seniors age 65 and over are choosing cosmetic surgery, a 113% increase since 1996. The most popular procedures for both age groups are eyelid eyelid /eye·lid/ (-lid) either of two movable folds (upper and lower) protecting the anterior surface of the eyeball.
