CORT Directions announced today the launch and general availability of their new WebHRMS product. Built on CORT Directions client-server solution, WebHRMS extends a fully integrated HRMS solution to the web using Microsoft's .NET architecture.

WebHRMS is already deployed at numerous CORT Directions' customers, and provides highly secure payroll, HR, and self service solutions through a web browser. Advantages of WebHRMS include centralized maintenance and management of the HRMS solution and extending processing functions out to remote offices and at-home workers.

"Integrated HRMS typically means the database is shared between payroll and HR applications," said Todd Sensenbach, Director of Development for CORT Directions. "WebHRMS goes a step further to integrate the user interface (UI) as well. That means users view employees as a single human asset without having to switch programs or screens."

WebHRMS can co-exist with the Windows client-server edition of HRMS, sharing the same platform and databases. Sensenbach says this allows users to select the type of business processes they prefer to do on the web browser and those they want to do from their Windows desktop.

Sensenbach says the underlying payroll and HR engine is built on the stable platform of the client-server product line, culminating from CORT Directions' 29 years of experience in the industry.
