CORRECTIONS.In the Moneywise section of our June 1999 issue of BE ("Standing on Shaky Ground"), we reported that two of the five stocks chosen by Isaac Green of Loomis Sayles, Hasbro Inc. (Amex: HAS) and American Home Products (NYSE: AHP), produced a one-year total return of -20.6% and -25.9%, respectively. As a result, we incorrectly reported that the overall performance of Green's stock picks was -18.2%, because we failed to adjust the picks to reflect stock splits. Hasbro had done a 3-for-2 stock split on March 15, 1999 (producing a total return of 18.5% for the 52-week period after the stock was recommended), and American Home Products had done a 2-for-1 split on August 17, 1998, producing a 52-week return of 48.2%. As a result, Green's selections showed a positive gain of 4.32%. BE welcomes comments from our readers. Address all correspondence to Letters, BLACK ENTERPRISE, 130 Fifth Ave., New York, NY 10011.
