A section: A story about obesity and health among Micronesians on Monday's Page A7 stated that islanders were coming to the United States for medical treatment on welfare. While this is true in some states, especially Hawaii, Micronesians are not eligible for most forms of state assistance in Oregon, including the Oregon Health Plan.
