CORRECTION FROM SOURCE-Melkior Resources Inc.: Additionnal High Nickel and Copper Values on Delta-Kenty Property.Business Editors MONTREAL--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 22, 2004 Correction to press release sent out earlier today. Changes were made to the table, in reference to the "Assay Results"; the complete and corrected version follows below. Falconbridge Ltd. (TSX TSX Toronto Stock Exchange (TSE before April, 2002) TSX Transfer from Stack Pointer to Index TSX True Space Extension : "FL") (51% owner) and Melkior Resources Inc. (TSX-V: "MKR MKR Miljoner Kronor (Swedish money) MKR Magic Knights Rayearth (anime) MKR Magic Knights Rayearth MKR Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings (author of The Yearling) MKR Marker Radio Beacon ") (49% owner) are pleased to announce assay results from selected grab samples taken during their joint August and September, 2003 exploration campaign on the Delta-Kenty property. This property consists of 41 ground-staked claims totalling 656 hectares located about 35 km west of the Falconbridge-owned Raglan mine. The property currently hosts historical reserves of 817,000 tons grading 3.05% Ni, 1.26% Cu and 2.6 ppm of Pd + Pt held in two distinct zones (D8 and D9) along a shear zone. Nickel (Ni) and Copper (Cu) values have been calculated to 100% Sulfide equivalents. The mineralization Mineralization The process by which the body uses minerals to build bone structure. Mentioned in: Rickets mineralization, n the bioprecipitation of an inorganic substance. present in the following samples represents 2 - 8% disseminated, often dusty pyrrhotite pyrrhotite (pĭr`ətīt) or magnetic pyrites, bronze-yellow to bronze-red mineral, a sulfide of iron sometimes containing nickel. It tarnishes easily and is somewhat magnetic. with trace amounts up to 2% disseminated chalcopyrite chalcopyrite (kăl'kəpī`rīt, kăl`kōpī'rīt) or copper pyrites (pīrī`tēz, pə–), brass-yellow mineral, sometimes with an iridescent tarnish. .

Results are presently being compiled. This sampling was precipitated by the receipt of an anomalous nickel assay from a sample collected earlier in 2003. This first sample contained 0.66% Ni and 0.28% Cu with only 1.62% S, which equates to 14.6% Ni in 100% sulphides. Similarly, samples D74758 and D74780 contain grades of 0.66% Ni 0.28% Cu and 1.03% Ni 0.17% Cu which adjusted for the Sulfides represent 12.5% Ni 6.25% Cu and 17.06% Ni 3.12% Cu respectively. The details of the 2004 exploration campaign will be announced as soon as all the data will be compiled. |
