CORRECTION/Veterinary Centers of America Inc. forms joint venture for distribution of pet products in Japan.

Tourism and retailing are important, and the city has motion-picture, biotechnology, and software industries. , Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 1, 1996--Veterinary Centers of America Inc. (NASDAQ/NMS:VCAI) Friday announced that Vet's Choice has entered into a joint venture agreement with four Japanese distributors to form Vet's Choice Japan. These distributors are among the largest distributors in Japan serving one of the largest markets for premium pet food products in the world.

Each of the partner distributors will promote and distribute Vet's Choice products within Japan. Prior to forming the joint venture, Vet's Choice test marketed its product lines for more than a year with the largest of the four partner distributors.
