WIRELESS FRONTIER INTERNET AWARDED COMMUNITY NETWORK FIBER CONTRACT

Wireless Frontier Internet Inc. (Pink Sheets:WFRI), a national provider of high-speed wireless broadband Internet, has been awarded a Community Network Fiber contract to light up the fiber connecting all the schools in the Fort Stockton Independent School District.

For the last three years, WFRI has actively worked to bring the City, County and School District together to form a governmental collaborative. WFRI worked with the city and county to lay the infrastructure and the fiber, and designed a Gigabit (1000 Mb) fiber backbone to connect all the schools in town. "This final contract wraps up a dream we have all had in Fort Stockton to bring broadband technology to our youth," stated FSISD Superintendent Leonard Kent.

The ISD contract, valued at $700,000, will complete the E-Rate Year 5 funding program that has been made available to area schools. WFRI will complete the project by utilizing Cisco Systems technology of fiber and copper switches/routers. "The design we will implement for the ISD will allow this remote rural school district every advantage that we have seen in the larger metro schools. The VPN, VLAN and Layer 3 network will be under the careful supervision of our CCIE engineers and staff," stated Lorenzo Clarke, Chief Technology Officer for Wireless Frontier.

In addition to connecting the fiber to the schools, WFRI has also connected the County Courthouse, Judicial Buildings and Fort Stockton City Hall to the fiber. "Our goals to provide high speed services throughout Fort Stockton with Fiber and Broadband Wireless have been a great success. Today we have 100% coverage which allows the entire community the option of high speed Internet services," explained Alex Gonzalez, CEO of Wireless Frontier. "Our business plan to expand broadband services throughout rural America is greatly emphasized in our working model in Fort Stockton," he further stated.

Although being a remote rural community, Fort Stockton has shown great promise by bringing in new high-tech opportunities such as the West Texas Aerospace Development Center. "Our new Aerospace center is a big victory for our area. Broadband technology is a major advantage in bringing new businesses to Fort Stockton and Pecos County. WFRI's development of the fiber and wireless network allows us to compete with other Metro markets," said Doug May, Director of the Economic and Development Corporation.
